Office politics are pretty much impossible to avoid. But what about office drama and the office drama queen?
Our workplace and career expert, Brandon Smith, is back to deal with a listener question about dealing with a co-worker who just wants to vent all the time.
Here’s an excerpt of her note:
“[I have] a co worker, [a] drama queen, that comes into my office [and] needs to shut the door to vent about people in her department. I HATE this — strong word — but I really don’t like this. I don’t want my boss to think I’m getting caught up in office politics. I am very neutral, everyone likes me, I get along with everyone. …How do I tell her not to do this?”
